7/26/08 - ON SET FOR CHEVROLET, ART VAN, BUICK AND MORE...
I recently started working at Grace & Wild in Farmington Hills. So far it has been going great with tons to see, learn and do. They have a very large client list so I get to see work we do on television.

5/7/08 - SUMMER 2008 SUNSETS AND BEACH PHOTOS BEGIN
I'm sure these are the first of many sunset photos that will be taken this summer but there is a new album on the photos page for sunsets. On my most recent trip to the beach in Grand Haven I got some really great shots of the sky. Take a look on the photos page.

 

5/2/08 - BUTTERFLIES!
Leigh-Ann and I just checked out the butterfly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan on it's last day of public viewing. There were tons of butterflies and flowers making for some awesome shots, check out the photos page for a few of the pictures from the exhibit.

 

5/1/08 - MOVE OUT
I'll be spending the next week packing up and moving out of our townhouse at Campus View in Allendale. It was a fun year for Leigh-Ann, Jake, Joe and myself but we are all headed different ways this summer. I just settled into a new house where I will be living for the next six weeks, it's awesome. Look for some photos on here eventually.

 

4/26/08 - COLLEGE GRADUATE
The past four years have gone by fast but they have been a great time. I have one course left to take this summer and then I will be headed to Farmington Hills for my internship at Grace and Wild. There should be some good experience coming ahead at the internship now the the tax incentive has passed in Michigan, apparently Clint Eastwood and Samuel L. Jackson are already slated to shoot films here in the next six months...

 

4/25/08 - PREMIERING ON THE BIG SCREEN
To Live and Die in Dixie had it's limited cast and crew sneak peek last week at Celebration Cinema in Grand Rapids. It was a full crowd with a red carpet and a reception afterwards. I had my spot in the credits as Driver and as Marketing Design for doing all of the art for the website, poster and DVD cover-sleeve. Check it out at www.toliveanddieindixie.com.

 

3/15/08 - WINTER IS OVER!
My car just got washed for the first time since November - I forgot it was so white.

 

3/10/08 - SPRING BREAK PHOTOS
l just got home from my trip up north, great time. Many photos (including the Coke one above) will be added to an album on the photos page in the next week or two.

 

2/28/08 - SNOWBOARDING UP NORTH, TOMORROW!
Spring Break begins tomorrow, I'm headed up north to Shanty Creek for some snowboarding. My winter trip out west to Vail was on a mountain, ten times the vertical height of where I'll be next week... But as long as there is snow it gets the job done. I'm going to try and post a video when I get back that I made from clips at Shanty Creek 5 years ago, featuring Neil, Adam, myself and others. For now I'm turning the MacBook off for a week, taking a break from work. As soon as I get back I have a meeting for my internship and I'll be getting busy printing new business cards. They're hot!

 

2/2/08 - NEW PHOTOS AND HELVETICA
Click photos at the top to view the recently added albums. New work being posted soon. This is the first time in three years I haven't had Century Gothic as my font used on the site but I saw the film Helvetica last month and realized you can't go an hour in an average day without seeing the font used. I still can't decide whether I like Helvetica or not, however it's a temporary vacation from Century Gothic. The picture above is one I took in small town in the middle of Colorado in December of 2007.
